Can’t go wrong with that Duck one at the top (what is he carrying that leaf for anyway?) – and that lion sure looks relaxed Wish I could do that instead of going to work some days!
These pictures are stellar, and the animals are so cute! I haven’t been to a zoo in such a long time, but I bet I would love to go now as an adult so I could try and get great pictures of the animals. As a child I was just amazed they were all in the same general area. My favorites of your shots are definitely the duckling and the male sleeping lion. Both of the pictures are just so full of personality, although all of them are beautifully shot. Looks like if I ever go to Hamburg that I will like their zoo. Was it hard for you to get these shots?
Stunning photos, I really like them, you have truly captured the animals in their natural state, so lovely! Millie recently posted..Basic Steps of Moving that Saves Time
The zoo was pretty tiny to be honest… Compared to Chester Zoo in the UK I wouldn’t say it was worth the visit. But if you can’t get to Chester Zoo then yeah I’d give it a go.
Dan, these are some incredible shots! I like the way you’ve edited some of them and how many fill the frame. Feels like you are right there! Nomadic Samuel recently posted..Garden Shed | Fredericton, Canada | Travel Photo

Cheers! I think he was carrying the leaf around to piss the others off… they kept chasing him.

Nah it’s so easy to get shots in a zoo… partly why I like/ hae zoos so much. The animals hardly have any room to get around!

I love the one of the lion sleeping the best too. Their enclosure wasn’t very big though so I felt bad for them.

Amazing shots! My favorite would have to be the zebra with his tongue sticking out! Was the zoo very big?
